Loaders play a vital role in various engineering construction and material handling fields. As a heavy machinery widely used in earthwork construction, cargo handling and other scenarios, loaders are classified in various ways to meet specific needs under different working conditions.
Loaders are mainly divided into two types according to the walking mechanism: wheeled and crawler. Wheel loaders show excellent operability on flat and hard ground with their light weight, fast walking speed and good maneuverability. It has a short operating cycle time, high work efficiency, does not damage the road surface, can move the construction site by itself, and is suitable for scenes such as urban construction and road construction. For example, in urban road construction, wheel loaders can quickly transport building materials.
Crawler loaders have a low center of gravity, good stability and low ground pressure. It has good adhesion and passing performance on soft ground. For example, crawler loaders can show strong adaptability on wet and soft ground, rugged mines, and agricultural areas with complex terrain, and complete ore mining, material transportation and other tasks.
From the perspective of use, loaders can be divided into open-air loaders and underground loaders. Open-air loaders are mainly used for open-air operations and are a common type of loader; underground loaders are developed on the basis of open-air loaders and are specially developed for operations such as underground mining and tunneling. They have a shorter body, a horizontally arranged cab, and are equipped with exhaust gas purification devices.
In addition, there are different classification methods such as engine power, bucket unloading method, and transmission form. Small loaders have low power and are suitable for scenes with small workloads; large loaders have strong operating capabilities and are used for large projects. Loaders with different unloading methods and transmission forms also meet different operating requirements and working environments.
